MONDAY nights at The Local are my personal Favorites.  Friends from Various Parts of my life (i’m old and duplicit) gather to eat and drink and laugh and forget that the week has just damn begun!!!  The Wings rock, the People special (some more than others), Connections are made, Phone numbers are exchanged, and some people get too drunk.

Say hallelujah, brothers and sisters. Salvation is coming your way. SISTER LOUISA may have been stripped of her habit and rosary, but her heart still beats for Jesus. THE THIRD COMING, a show of new religious works by the defrocked nun (aka the beehived bartender Grant Henry), opens APRIL 2 at Radial Cafe. Festivities include a musical performance by Kingsized (Gusto Show), and Hollis Gillespie will be on hand to sign copies of her book Bleachy-Haired Honky Bitch: Tales from a Bad Neighborhood.
